Jungle Animals. Henri Rousseau, Children's Art Projects

I have always loved creating art with Jungle Animals as the subject matter( main idea in ELA- common core standard). The Oxacans make wonderful high patterned animals of the jungle. Henri Rousseau on the other hand never left France but created his jungle scenes borrowing from plants he drew in the botanical gardens. His jungle animals were either drawn from toy animals or photographs or zoo animals.I have posted a grouping of 9 of my favorite projects to make with children on my store on teacherspay teachers.
